School is in here! Yay! Both of my kids are in all day so that means that I am able to tackle a few more neglected sewing projects. The top of the list was making boy versions of my Sweet Diaper Bag (available in my pattern shop - tab #2 and in my Etsy) Pattern. Luckily I have a sweet friend that is having a baby this week and so it was the perfect time to make a bag... or three :) I was able to give here a blanket and a bag which is always fun right?!
The second thing that has been neglected this whole year is our Quilting Guild Challenge Quilt. We got the challenge in January and wouldn't ya know I have just made time for it because it is due ; 0. So anyway, here is our challenge quilt - I just need to stitch on the applique and quilt this baby. I also need something in the bottom right corner. I am thinking of a few options.
I just thought I would share some of my favorite blocks - I love this pinwheel -
Here is my favorite appliqué block, just because of the green and pink -
I really like the black blocks in the quilt tons. I don't know why but they catch my eye.
Well, there ya go a couple of neglected things got some attention. I won't tell you how many other neglected things there are because it is a LONG list. Most of the items have something to do with cleaning my house but I will get to all of those things eventually.
